Community Life Builders (CLBs)
These selected volunteers (also known as "yellow shirts")
are Christ-centered servants who fill a variety of roles at the Gathering. Helpline
representatives, hotel liaisons, crowd managers/greeters and Gathering program assistants
are just a few examples of the service CLBs share.
Community Life Builders:
- are 25 or older at the time of the Gathering (July 1-5, 2013)
- must apply and be accepted as a Community Life Builder
- complete a background check paid for by the Gathering
- Are able to commit to serving June 28-July 5, 2013
Once accepted the Gathering provides registration, housing, a travel voucher and a limited meal per diem.To apply to be a Community Life Builder (CLB), check the LCMS Youth Gathering website at http://www.lcmsgathering.com/.
Young Adult Volunteers
The application for the Young Adult Volunteers (YAVs) Corps, also known as the "Orange Nation" by the color of their Gathering shirts,open the summer of 2012.The YAV Corps is for young adults aged 19-25 years old at the time of the Gathering (July 1-5, 2013).More information about serving as a YAV can be found at http://www.lcmsgathering.com/
